We’re ever SO grateful for the racing establishment and family we have here….that always welcome us warmly, and with open arms ! Please come join us, and visit our table throughout this busy day of thrilling, family fun. We will be set up as usual….on the 1st floor, near the escalators. You are welcome to purchase an autographed copy of our autobiography, or just share YOUR story with us. Devin & I are always happy to see both old and new faces. NEW YORK CITY TRIP – 2018
“Walking With God Through Autism” spoke boldly in New York City during spring break. My son and I enjoyed experiencing the Big Apple in all its spectacular beauty. We met the sweetest people… soaking up every array of culture to its fullest. There is nothing more therapeutic and exciting than pushing outside of your comfort zone to take on new adventures in life. The more one tries, the more one grows. And with that growth, we climb into uncharted territory… reaching heights we never dreamed were possible. This was an opportunity to learn hands-on history, the arts, and heritage which only enriched both of our lives. While walking its streets, we spread our joy to others, and they greeted us with arms wide open. Upon leaving, we felt as if we were bringing a piece of New York back home. As God continues to use us, we will continue to step out boldly, and share His light within, for the world to see.
We would like to once again thank Kat Arnold & ALL of the crew at Miracle 89.1 and The Promise 90.7 FM radio stations in Shreveport, La. – for the WONDERFUL day we had with each of them on 8-29-17 !! “Walking With God Through Autism” will soon be at Harrah’s Louisiana Downs again in Bossier City, LA … for our famous ‘Super Derby’. We invite you to come out, bring friends, and the entire family for a wonderful day filled with fun, activities, and great horse racing !! Please support us in our efforts…as we try to bring more awareness to our beautiful community of those who bravely face life with autism !!
My late husband was the well adored Cajun jockey, E.J. “Tee-Joe” Perrodin, and was recognized here for his many milestones in horse racing. Presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award, he also made a huge impact on many worldwide with his big heart … inside and out of the racing world!
Our autobiography will take you on a journey through the eyes of autism – in the world of horse racing. Being in the media, (and keeping family setbacks private), was most difficult. But through these pages, you will understand more… how the trials that we ALL face are quite similar. Our challenges, (both in and out of racing), were extreme. Autism became the tool that God used in OUR lives to bring us closer to Him and others. You will be encouraged and inspired as you read this amazing testimony. So PLEASE join me, along with our race track family…for a GREAT day of fun for all !!!
